Antenna & Satellite Technology Inc. has been serving
the Pacific Northwest, including Alaska, since 1982. Our CEO and chief engineer, Patrick Hart, has been in the
television industry for more than 25 years, getting his start servicing
television and radio transmission towers in the early 1970's. He has been in the
satellite industry since 1979. Chronology of Events: 1982: Begin working with the Pike Place Market
building & maintaining the MATV (Master Antenna Television) systems for over
300 residents in the Pike Place Market. 1985: Started to travel to Alaska doing commercial
work for satellite dealers & building LPTV (Low Power Television) systems in
remote villages of Alaska. 1993: Launch the analog to digital conversion for
LETN (Law Enforcement Television Network), FETN (Fire & Emergency Television
Network) and HSTN (Hospital Satellite Television Network). Convert, service or
install over 300 sites. 1994: From 1994 to 1998 we build the RF & video
broadband network for 27 Future Shops throughout the Pacific Northwest. Cabling
an average of 400 TVs per store. 1995: Sign a contract with Cable Plus, a national
Private Cable operator. Rebuild or install over 80 apartment complexes with
10,000 plus residential units. 1997: Contract to Virgin Records, traveling
nationwide building satellite communications network. 1999: Build antenna farm and distribution network
for Real Networks new headquarters. 2000: Upgrade & rebuild Swedish Medical
Center’s First Hill and Ballard campuses.
